Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. The weld area is protected from atmospheric contamination by an inert shielding gas (argon or helium), and a filler metal is normally used. TIG Welding is most commonly used to weld thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloys.

4043 Aluminium TIG Rods : 2.4, 3.2mm : 5% silicon alloy TIG rod suitable for fusion welding of alloy casting, generally used in the repair of automotive parts such as cylinder heads, inlet manifolds & housings. Can also be used for defects & cast repairs.
4047 Aluminium TIG Rods : 3.2mm : 10% silicon content to produce higher weld sheer strength & minimise hot cracking. The slightly lower melting point and higher fluidity of 4047 makes it ideal for brazing operations.
5356 Aluminium TIG Rods : 2.4, 3.2mm : 5% magnesium alloy TIG rod suitable for fusion welding of 5 & 7 series alloys. Typical applications include marine, tubing, thin sheet, tanks, checker plate& general aluminium fabrication.
316L Stainless TIG Rods : 1.6, 2.4, 3.2mm : 316L offers excellent resistance to general corrosion from organic & inorganic acids. Metal deposits show good resistance to inter-crystalline corrosion & high temps due to low carbon content. Suitable for welding 302, 304/304L, 308, 318, 347, 410 & 430 grades of stainless steel.
